Your VAUDE product withstands a water column of at least 10.000 millimeters (JIS L 1092 B). The membrane is made of polyurethane (PU), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or polyester (PES) and is 100 percent free of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Ceplex Active is also used by VAUDE as a coating.

Eco Finish
VAUDE products with Eco Finish are environmentally friendly water repellent made without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used to impregnate the outer fabric of many outdoor products.
